Anxiety is the feeling of unease – which can be fear or worry – which can range from mild to severe.   According to the Mental Health Foundation, anxiety is one of the most prevalent mental health issues in the UK.  Despite this, it is under-reported, under-diagnosed and under-treated.

Most people experience anxiety at some point in their lives as a normal reaction to stresful life events such as a job interview or sitting an exam.  However, anxiety that is constant or feels uncontrolable is causing distress and have a negative impact on your life.  Some people suffer from anxiety related to specific issues,  others can experience anxiety for a number of issues and situations.

It can become impossible to stop worrying without help. And there is no shame in getting help, only in continuing to suffer in silence.
